Movie Trailer Critique

Our GT teacher gave us assignment to make our own movie trailer to advertise our movie. So I teamed up with Celeste Velarde,Oriia Nitsu and Chazz McConnell and we decided on a Adventure and Suspense movie called The Watchers. The Watchers is basically a movie about a girl trying to find her parents but a group called The Watchers doesen't want to find answers and tries to stop her. I helped by being one of the two Watchers the other being Oriia. I also did some of the voiceovers that told the story.

With an assignment of course also has to come with requirements and this project in particular had a lot of them! Some of them pertained to the trailer and some to the movie poster. For the trailer the requirements were voiceovers and the trailer had to be 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes and 30 seconds. The trailer had to have layers to distort the background and focus a viewers attentions to the text and picture. I met all of these requirements.

Our class critique came up and I felt pretty good about it. For our audience grade, which was the criteria that determined if the movie was fit for younger kids and since it was meant for older people we got a pretty low score on that. On creativity we got a pretty average score on that one criteria but and requirements which judged how many requirements we did was the highest! So if I was to put it all in a letter grade I'd put it at a B or a C.
